The Rich World of 'Aeternum' is a big world full of magic, mystery and undiscovered land. The Sun and Stars that beam down on the world are the illustrious 'Somnium' and the shadow of this world is the forsaken 'Earth'.

Aeternum

Aeternum is a huge world filled magic. It's lands are rich and wide and full of life. Magic from Somius and Esterri fill the world with Elemental and Arcane magic. There are many civilizations and species that live together and coexist in this ever growing and developing world. The word has seen many years already and there are ruins of ancient civilizations.

Somnius

Somnius, is the world that you can see from Aeternum as the Sun and Stars. Unlike Aeternum, there are no rules. It's a completely different world where magic is unbound and changes continuesly. It has two known layers; 'Imagica' the dream world and 'Esterri' the distortion world. They are both crucial and form the balance that make up Aeternum. "Fast/Slow, Light/Dark, Hot/Cold ec. all exist in Aeternum thanks to Somnius.

Going there is easy, getting back? Less so. Because it's ever-changing, weak magic points and portals are harder to find (Once inside) for they change continuously.

 

Imagica is the sun and provides Elemental magic. It can physically accessed through certain portals and mentally through dreams or seer and spiritual magic. Upon entering this world, those with a strong will and rich mind are capable of controlling magic in Imagica. The most dangerous part in Imagica is losing yourself. The place is so wonderful people tend to forget reality. They want to spend more time there, but when their minds stay for too long, their body dies in the real world. And if they physically stay for too long, they'll start to dissapear. For nothing stays in Somnius.

Esterri is the night sky and provides Arcana magic. It can physically be accessed through shamanic rituals and mentally through nightmares and when near-death. Like Imagica, there are no rules that bound the ever shaping world. The magic in this world is chaotic and distorted. It's not a place you want to stick around for too long, for you will otherwise becomes like the world's shadows... Forgotten...

Earth

The forsaken land. In the shadows of the great Aeternum lie what the people there call 'earth'. It is believed that many many centuries ago, humans from Aeternum were banned to the shadow lands. Nowadays, the wicked offspring are destroying the magic-less land bit by bit, as they inherited their ancestor's destructive nature. It's a dead place. And the wondrous life forms that managed to inhabit the empty lands, are now being killed by magic-less humans.
